The following guidelines apply to individuals who participate in one or more of the FND-administered programs:
- Child and Adult Care Food Program Adult Day Care (CACFP-ADC) or Child Care Centers (CACFP-CCC)
- Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
- Special Milk Program (SMP)
- Women, Infants and Children who participate in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program
- Persons 60 Years of Age or Older who participate in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
- Texas Commodity Assistance Program (TEXCAP)

The following guidelines apply to individuals who participate in the following:
Child and Adult Care Food Program Adult Day Care (CACFP-ADC) or Child Care Centers (CACFP-CCC) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).
Eligibility is based on the total income and size (i.e., number of household members) of an individual's household. Children from families whose incomes are at or below the levels shown in the table below, or who receive benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or food stamps), are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. Adult Day Care participants whose household incomes are at or below the levels shown in the table below, or who receive Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or SNAP benefits, are eligible for free or reduced-price meals.

The following guidelines apply to Persons 60 Years of Age or Older who participate in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).

Individuals qualify for USDA-donated foods to supplement the individual's dietary needs if their total household income is equal to or less than the figures provided in the table below.

Note: Use gross income to determine eligibility. Exceptions:
- Farmers and self-employed households qualify based on net income (total income minus expenses).
- A household with unexpected and unavoidable expenses of a household crisis may qualify for temporary, emergency food assistance without regard to the household’s gross or net income.
