Adult Day Care Center (ADC)



Adult Day Care Centers Am I Eligible To Apply?
An organization is eligible to apply for participation in the CACFP-ADC if it:

  • is a public or private nonprofit adult day care facility or a proprietary, for profit center with at least 25 percent of its enrolled participants receiving benefits under Title XIX or Title XX;
  • is an independent center or a sponsored facility;
  • provides structured, comprehensive services to nonresidential adults who
    • are functionally impaired,
    • or aged 60 and older.

Do I Get Paid?
Yes. You are reimbursed for serving eligible meals to eligible participants.

How Much Am I Paid?
The reimbursement you receive for each eligible meal served is a rate based upon the participant’s eligibility for free, reduced price, or paid meals.
